Best Antivirus: Windows Defender (you don’t need anything else)

Other than maybe some file cleaning functions in other programs, Windows Defender is all you need and does everything that any other AV program will do. It also has a steady history of getting better since the OG Microsoft Security Essential days on Windows 7.

You can go to AV-Test below and see how similar most of these programs score. They are the same thing. No need to pay for what you can get for free (and preinstalled on Windows 10!)
